The parties discussed the further development of direct cooperation between higher education institutions of the two countries, including academic exchanges between teachers and students, participation of specialists and researchers in international conferences, seminars, symposiums and round tables.

It was noted that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Greece in the field of higher education is currently carried out mainly within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ program, which promotes the exchange of experience, the implementation of joint educational projects and the expansion of academic mobility.

At the moment, Tashkent State Technical University cooperates with the Athens Institute of Technology, and the Andijan Engineering Institute cooperates with the University of Western Attica. As part of the initiative, it was proposed to involve other universities of Uzbekistan in joint projects with Greek universities.

In addition, professors and specialists from Greek universities are regularly invited to educational institutions in Uzbekistan for lectures, training sessions and experience exchange. There is a particular interest in attracting Greek scientists for master classes and scientific research in the fields of technology, engineering, tourism and cultural studies.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue developing interuniversity ties, implementing joint research projects and strengthening cooperation within the framework of the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.
