Uzbekistan and the UAE have agreed to increase the frequency of flights several times

    Within the framework of the ICAO ICAN–2023 event, Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates reached the most effective agreement to increase the volume of air traffic.

    During the negotiations between the aviation administrations of the two countries, an agreement was signed on a multiple increase in the geography and frequency of flights.

    In accordance with this agreement, along with Tashkent and Samarkand airports, flights will be operated from all regional international airports to such UAE cities as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, as well as Ras al Khaimah and Fujairah.

    The designated airlines of both countries, in accordance with the agreement reached, will be able to operate the following flights to:

    • Tashkent - Abu Dhabi, Samarkand - Abu Dhabi, Urgench - Abu Dhabi, Bukhara - Abu Dhabi, Namangan - Abu Dhabi, Ferghana - Abu Dhabi, Karshi - Abu Dhabi, Termez - Abu-Dhabi", "Nukus - Abu Dhabi" - 41 flights per week;
    • Tashkent - Dubai, Samarkand - Dubai, Namangan - Dubai, Bukhara - Dubai, Navoi - Dubai, Ferghana - Dubai, Nukus - Dubai - 35 flights per week;
    • Tashkent - Sharjah, Namangan - Sharjah, Samarkand - Sharjah, Ferghana - Sharjah, Karshi - Sharjah, Termez - Sharjah - 23 flights per week;
    • Tashkent - Ras Al Khaimah, Samarkand - Ras Al Khaimah - 6 flights per week;
    • Tashkent - Fujairah - 3 flights per week.

    This agreement will facilitate the exchange of foreign tourists and transit passengers between the two countries, the development of pilgrimage tourism, as well as the expansion of the geography of flights and an increase in the volume of exports of services for newly established airlines in Uzbekistan.
