Recently, during his visit to Tajikistan, the Director of the Agency for the Development of the Agricultural Industry of Uzbekistan held talks with the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Tajikistan, Asozoda Nuraly Mahmadullo.
During the negotiations, the details of the garden project were discussed and measures for its implementation were identified. The delegation also visited the site allocated for the project in Dushanbe and analyzed the stages of its implementation. Following the meeting, the necessary recommendations were developed, and the practical implementation of the project was launched on the same day.
The project covers several key areas. The introduction of a drip irrigation system will ensure the rational use of water resources and optimal conditions for crop growth.
In Uzbekistan, high-quality seedlings of fruit trees adapted to the climate of Tajikistan have been selected and prepared for shipment, as well as specialized agrotechnical measures aimed at their successful rooting and growth.
In addition, the project will carry out comprehensive soil preparation: improving its fertility, applying high-quality fertilizers and creating conditions for high yields.
Special attention is paid to the infrastructural provision of the garden: the development of effective irrigation systems, the installation of protective and maintenance mechanisms, landscaping and organization of the planting process.
In addition, professional support is provided in the form of agronomic consultations and exchange of experience between Uzbek and Tajik specialists, which will increase the effectiveness of agricultural cooperation between the two countries.
The Garden of Friendship project embodies not only environmental and agricultural initiatives, but also symbolizes deep, long-term ties between the fraternal peoples of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, opening up new prospects for further strengthening cooperation in various fields.
