The Danish Travel Show is the largest tourism event in the Scandinavian (Northern European) region and brings together representatives of the tourism market of the Nordic countries, leading tour operators, airlines, hotel chains and companies providing services in the field of tourism on one platform. The fair is a prestigious international B2B and B2C platform, covering representatives from more than 60 countries, as well as thousands of professional visitors and travel enthusiasts.
The rich historical and cultural heritage of the country, pilgrimage tourism destinations, gastronomic routes, as well as the potential of ecological and mountain adventure tourism were widely presented at the national stand of Uzbekistan. In particular, presentations of the tourist opportunities of the cities of Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and Tashkent, new routes and modern infrastructure were held.
Within the framework of the fair, B2B meetings were held with foreign partners, during which issues of increasing the tourist flow from Scandinavian countries to Uzbekistan, developing joint travel packages and expanding marketing cooperation were discussed. Detailed information was also provided on the status of Uzbekistan as an open and safe tourist destination, visa-free regime and simplified visa procedures.
