In order to increase the effectiveness of coordinating Uzbekistan's initiatives in the field of culture and tourism abroad, the position of cultural and tourism adviser is additionally included in the staffing table of the embassies of Uzbekistan in the countries (according to the list).
The Adviser reports to the head of the diplomatic mission in the relevant country and assists in the development of bilateral relations, as well as reports to the head of the Department of Creative Economy and Tourism of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The list includes the embassies of Uzbekistan in the following countries: Great Britain, France, Indonesia, China, USA, UAE and Russia.
The main tasks of the advisor:
popularization of Uzbekistan's rich cultural heritage, cultural and artistic achievements, thereby contributing to strengthening the country's positive image in the international arena;
organization of joint educational programs in the field of culture, art institutions and research organizations, staff training and exchange of experience;
conducting information campaigns aimed at widely highlighting the tourism potential of Uzbekistan in the information space of the host country, as well as the systematic dissemination of promotional materials that increase the tourist attractiveness of the country.;
developing cooperation in promising areas such as historical, cultural, gastronomic, pilgrimage, handicraft, educational and medical tourism, as well as conducting expert analysis and developing specific proposals in this area, etc.
