The Center for Uzbek Language and Culture was opened in Shymkent

    The Center for Uzbek Language and Culture was opened at Jumabek Tashenov University in Chimkent.

    The initiative to open and equip this center belongs to the Andijan State Pedagogical Institute (AGPI), which develops partnerships and exchange with the Chimkent university on the basis of a memorandum of cooperation, reports IA"Dunyo".

    Jumabek Tashenev University is the only university in Kazakhstan that has established training of students in bachelor's and master's programs in the field of "Teachers of Uzbek language and literature".

    The opening of the center was a kind of gift for the 25th anniversary of this university from Uzbek partners.

    Rector of AGPI Bakhtiyor Rasulov and Ambassador of the Assembly of the Kazakh People in Uzbekistan Professor Hulkar Khamroeva made a great contribution to the opening of this center, whose activities are aimed at cultural and spiritual rapprochement of the two fraternal countries, development of cooperation and friendly relations. The Dustlik community of the Uzbek ethno-cultural community in Kazakhstan provided great assistance in enriching the center with books.

    The opening of this Center was a contribution to the strengthening of relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in the field of education and culture, which were raised to a new quality level, filled them with practical content.

    The center will allow to widely promote the national culture, literature and traditions of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan.

    Recall that the day before, the Uzbek Language Center was opened in one of the world's leading educational and research institutions, Oxford University, which will host the first students in January 2024.
