During the meeting, the Belarusian side highly appreciated the results of the official visit of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to Uzbekistan, which took place on February 7-9 this year, and emphasized the agreements reached in the fields of preschool and school education, the Dune news agency reports.

The need to intensify work on the implementation of the tasks in this area was noted and readiness was expressed to discuss the progress of the implementation of the points of the Roadmap and the Program of Cooperation in the educational sphere.

It was noted that the priority area of cooperation is the opening of branches of Belarusian universities in Uzbekistan, the implementation of "pilot projects" in the field of vocational education in the regions of our country, the organization of internships and exchanges of employees, managers and methodologists in the field of preschool education.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on a detailed study of the issues discussed between the competent authorities of the two countries.
