Ecologists have found many damaged trees in the National Park of Uzbekistan

    On social networks there were reports of damage to trees in the newly opened metropolitan National Park. The State Committee of Ecology made an official comment on the situation.

    It was noted that a working group was formed with the participation of the committee's leadership, and these cases were promptly studied with the participation of officials and specialists of the Tashkent City Ecology Department, media workers, bloggers, and the park administration.

    During the inspection of the trees in the park, it was found that some of them were partially damaged during construction and repair work.

    Attracted researchers from the Research Institute of Environmental Technologies and the Institute of Botany at the commission, gave recommendations on the organization of tree care.

    "At the moment, employees of the State Committee of Ecology continue to take care of partially damaged trees in the area on the basis of agrotechnical measures," the Committee concluded.

    Recall that on August 27, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the landscaping works carried out in the newly opened National Park of Uzbekistan. An administrative building, restaurants have been built on the territory of more than 14 hectares, bridges and roads have been repaired. The lake with a total area of 40 thousand square meters has been restored. The bottom of the lake is laid with a special coating to prevent shallowing and silting. A swimming area with a beach is organized. More than a thousand trees and about 200 thousand shrubs have been planted.
