The Minister of Natural Resources familiarized the guests with the ongoing work to improve the environmental situation in the Aral Sea region, to attract the attention of the international community to the problems of drying up of the Aral Sea, as well as landscaping works in the country.
During the meeting, the need to increase institutional capacity and train highly qualified specialists and experts to ensure the preservation of the country's unique ecosystems, biodiversity, mitigation of climate change and green growth was emphasized.
The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in attracting investments in the field of ecology and environmental protection, the introduction of green technologies, the transition to the principles of a green economy and the development of green development models.
