The second special board with Uzbek citizens evacuated from Ukraine arrived in Tashkent

    On March 1, 2022, at 09:15, another special plane of Uzbekistan Airways JSC with 258 citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan evacuated from Ukraine arrived in Tashkent from the Polish city of Katowice.

    As of March 1 of this year, 509 people have been returned from Ukraine to their homeland through the joint efforts of diplomatic missions and relevant departments of Uzbekistan.

    There are more than 650 people in the accumulation zone at the Karchova checkpoint, for whom all the necessary conditions have been created. For the removal of citizens, it is planned to carry out a series of additional evacuation flights.

    Diplomats of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland are engaged in solving the problems of arriving citizens and coordinate their collection at the airport. The diplomatic mission has a 24-hour operational headquarters.
