In Tashkent, the court announced the verdict against the main defendants in the Dok-1 Max case

    The Tashkent City Criminal Court today, on February 26, announced the verdict against the main defendants in the case of Dok-1 Max syrup, as a result of which at least 68 children died in Uzbekistan.

    According to the court's conclusion, the former head of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry Sardar Kariev was sentenced to 18 years in prison, two of his deputies Amirkhon Azimov and Nodirbek Musayev received 16 years each. The court decided to serve the prescribed sentences in general regime colonies.

    In addition, Singh Ragnevdra Prathar, who was the director of Quramax Medikal LLC, the official distributor of Dok-1 Max and other drugs of the Indian company Marion Biotech, was sentenced to 20 years in prison, also serving in general regime colonies. After the expiration of the sentence, an Indian citizen is subject to deportation.

    Recall that an open court hearing on a criminal case related to the drug "Dok-1 Max" began on August 11, 2023. It was considered by the judicial board of the Tashkent City Criminal Court under the chairmanship of Judge Musa Yusupov. A total of 23 people were accused in the case.
