The holding company "Marafie Group", established in 1919, operates in the fields of trade, manufacturing, design, real estate, construction, hotel business and other various areas. It has 30 structures and operational units, which employ more than 1,500 specialists.

During the negotiations, the Kuwaiti delegation stated its readiness to invest in projects implemented in Uzbekistan in various fields.

For example, Kuwaiti businessmen are interested in cooperation in agriculture, tourism and other fields. Marafie Group announced plans to create an apple plantation and build a plant for the production of natural apple juice with further exports of finished products, including to Kuwait.

Issues of establishing cooperation in the field of labor migration and signing a memorandum of cooperation between the Agency for External Labor Migration of Uzbekistan and a company in Kuwait were also discussed at the talks.

During the negotiations in Tashkent, preliminary agreements were reached on specific areas of partnership and investment projects.
