In 2024, credit resources in the total amount of up to 1.5 trillion soums will be allocated to business entities exporting agricultural products for carrying out activities related to the cultivation, storage, sorting, drying, processing and export of highly profitable and export-oriented agricultural products.
From April 1, 2024:
a) if the amount of currency not received within the framework of one export contract for fruit and vegetable products does not exceed 10% of the value of all products shipped for export, it is not considered as overdue accounts receivable and penalties are not applied to the business entity;
b) registration as self-employed individuals engaged in the collection of agricultural products in makhallas and its sale exclusively to domestic exporting enterprises is allowed until January 1, 2026.
A Republican commission has been established to coordinate the export of agricultural and food products. Its task is to promptly resolve problematic issues that arise at all stages - from growing and harvesting export-oriented products to concluding export contracts and supplying these products to foreign consumers.
