From January 1 to January 10, 2024, during school holidays, the Tourism Committee under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change together with the Agency for Youth Affairs, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the Ministry of Preschool and School Education holds a "Youth Tourism Week".
Within the week, we recommend students, students and young people aged 7 to 30 to visit the sights of our republic.
During this week, young people will be able to take advantage of special discounts on travel and transportation costs, entrance to theaters, cinemas and concerts, as well as free admission to museums and cultural heritage sites.
On October 8 of this year, the Chairman of the Senate held a meeting with young people who participated in the cultural and educational project "Memory Train".
On August 14 of this year, senior officials of the Tashkent City Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan and youth leaders of primary organizations of higher educational institutions of the Union visited the Senate.
On May 30, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation held a meeting with a delegation headed by Director General of the World Islamic Organization of Education, Science and Culture Salim al-Malik.
On April 15, Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, hosted the opening ceremony of the International project "Youth Capital of the CIS". It was attended by the heads of delegations of Uzbekistan, Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
A presidential decree was adopted "On measures to increase incomes and ensure youth employment by allocating land to them, as well as the development of new land areas" (PP No. 153 dated 04/05/2023).
From March 20 to March 31, 2024, on the occasion of the Navruz holiday and the "Youth Tourism Week", special discounts and promotions are being introduced for services provided in catering organizations and accommodation facilities in all regions of Uzbekistan.
