In Uzbekistan, over the past 10 days, theft of electricity and natural gas in the amount of 14 billion 898 million soums has been revealed. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Energy.
As specified, violations were detected in 1185 cases, resulting in damage to the state amounting to 11 billion 338 million soums for electricity and 3 billion 560 million soums for natural gas.
The majority of cases occur in the Samarkand, Ferghana and Andijan regions.
Measures were taken in accordance with the established procedure with regard to the infringing consumers, the relevant documents were submitted to law enforcement agencies.
