On June 28, 2023, early voting on the election of the President of Uzbekistan began for citizens who will not be able to stay at their place of residence on election day.
According to the press service of the CEC, as of July 1, 376,623 voters used the right to early voting.
Of these, 275,592 voters voted on the territory of Uzbekistan, and 101,031 voters voted abroad.
Recall that early voting will last until July 5.
The election date is set for July 9, 2023.

In accordance with the resolution adopted by the Central Election Commission at a meeting on August 26, 2024, polling stations have been established at diplomatic and other missions of the Republic of Uzbekistan in foreign countries to conduct elections of deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan in a single electoral district.
All five political parties of Uzbekistan have officially allowed to participate in the elections of deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and local kengashes of people's deputies. This became known today at the next meeting of the Central Election Commission.
In accordance with the Constitutional Law of December 18, 2023 "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at further improving the procedure for holding elections and referendums", the draft updated regulations of the Central Election Commission and the Regulations on Territorial Election commissions were considered and approved at the meeting.
