South Korean University of Wusong expands cooperation with higher education institutions of Uzbekistan

    At the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan, a meeting was held with the dean of the International School of South Korea's Wusong University and the Endicott College of International Studies, Lee Yu-Tek.

    Wusong University is located in Daejeon and has been offering bachelor's and master's degree programs in various fields since 1954. The University has several international schools that offer academic programs in English only. Since the foundation of the university, more than 100 memorandums of cooperation have been signed with universities and schools in more than 30 countries of the world, the Dunyo news agency reports.

    Currently, over 200 students from Uzbekistan study at the South Korean University in various fields, and engineering is one of the leading ones.

    During the meeting, issues of establishing cooperation between this university and higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan in the field of mechanical engineering were discussed.

    Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on the development of joint educational programs and student exchange, teacher training, organization of summer camps and online seminars.
