    On December 5 of this year, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjayev visited the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Uzbekistan to express condolences on the death of former Chairman of the People's Republic of China and General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee Jiang Zemin.

    During the conversation with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Uzbekistan Jiang Yan, the outstanding achievements of Jiang Zemin in the formation of the People's Republic of China as one of the most dynamically developing countries in the world, which has demonstrated a vivid example of global economic and technological growth in recent decades, were noted.

    It was stressed that during the leadership of Jiang Zemin, the bilateral relations of Uzbekistan and China were given a systematic character, which created the basis for bringing them to a qualitatively new level of strategic partnership.

    In turn, the head of the Chinese diplomatic mission expressed deep gratitude for the support and readiness to continue developing large-scale bilateral cooperation in all areas.
