A meeting of the leaders of the member states and observers of the Organization of Turkic States began its work in Samarkand this morning.
On November 10, 2022, a meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization of Turkic States (CMID OTG) was held in Samarkand.
The leaders of the Turkic states visited the Eternal City complex in the International Tourist Center “The Great Silk Road”.
By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan was awarded the Order “Oliy Darajali Imom Bukhoriy” – the Order of Imam Bukhari of the Highest Degree.
On November 10-11 of this year, the first summit of the Organization of Turkic States will be held in Samarkand.
At the event, the member States of the organization will discuss issues related to the further development of international freight transport processes, increasing the transit potential of the region, as well as the development of alternative transport routes.
On October 17, 2022, in Istanbul, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov will take part in an extraordinary meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization of Turkic States.
The Turkic Agro-Forum, held in Tashkent as part of the First Meeting of the Ministers of Agriculture of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), as well as the VII Meeting of the Ministers of Agriculture of the member states convened by the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), brought together the key representatives of the modern agro-industrial complex. Viorel Gutu, the FAO Sub-Regional Coordinator for Central Asia, was among them.
On July 3-6, 2022, meetings of ministers of Agriculture of the Organization of Turkic States (Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Hungary and Turkmenistan) and the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), as well as the Agroforum of Turkic States will be held in Tashkent with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
