It is known that relations between Uzbekistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially trade, economic and political dialogue, are consistently developing.
During the meeting, topical issues of developing bilateral cooperation and expanding partnership within international structures were discussed.
It was emphasized that active interaction at the highest level, as well as between the governments and parliaments of the two states, creates an important platform for cooperation between the women of our countries.
Within the framework of bilateral cooperation, the prospects of combining efforts based on joint projects to establish links between women's organizations, increase their participation in socio-economic, political, legal, cultural and educational life, and strengthen their social status in society were considered.
In particular, an agreement was reached on cooperation between scientific institutions for the study of family and women's issues, as well as on the development and implementation of student exchange programs at leading higher educational institutions in Uzbekistan and Iran.
