During the meeting, it was noted that thanks to the political will of the heads of state of Uzbekistan and Pakistan, relations between the countries are consistently strengthening and expanding.

It was also noted that inter-parliamentary ties play an important role in the development of strategic partnership relations between the two countries. Special attention is paid to such important issues as further expansion of cooperation in the political, trade, economic, investment, transport and communication spheres.

At the same time, an exchange of views took place on improving the effectiveness of the interparliamentary friendship groups of Uzbekistan and Pakistan, as well as establishing joint parliamentary control over the timely and high-quality implementation of agreements reached at the highest level.
