The current state of affairs in the development of the textile industry and small economic zones, as well as attracting financing for investment projects in these industries, were discussed.
In addition, priorities were identified for the organization of large-scale work in the energy sector in the future.
The Director General of UNIDO, Gerd Muller, wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that the parties discussed expanding the portfolio of UNIDO projects in Uzbekistan.
Issues of joint work on the modernization of the textile industry, increasing energy efficiency, using renewable energy sources, developing green hydrogen and adapting to climate change, especially in the Aral Sea region, were discussed.
