The PDPU has approved a candidate to participate in the early presidential elections of Uzbekistan

    At the XIII Congress of the People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (PDPU) on May 29 this year in Tashkent, a decision was made to approve party leader Ulugbek Inoyatov as a presidential candidate for early elections on July 9.

    Recall that the plenum of the party nominated Ulugbek Inoyatov as a presidential candidate on May 12. After that, she submitted documents to the Central Election Commission to participate in the elections and received permission, the news agency "Dunyo" reports.

    During the congress, the party also approved the candidate's program.

    The main goal of the candidate's program is to create a democratic social state in Uzbekistan that meets the criteria of social justice, social equality and democracy, the message says.

    The program puts forward about 100 proposals and initiatives in the areas of development of the state and society, ensuring equality of rights and opportunities, and conducting a strong social policy.

    The document also focuses on the issue of a constructive foreign policy based on openness and priority of national interests.

    The delegates of the congress noted that the candidate's program corresponds to the priority program ideas and goals of the People's Democratic Party, the program takes into account the rights and interests of the party electorate and low-income segments of the population.
