UzLiDeP approved the candidacy of Shavkat Mirziyoyev for the post of President of Uzbekistan

    On May 30, at the XI Congress of the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Business People - the Liberal Democratic Party (UzLiDeP) in Tashkent, a decision was made to approve the incumbent head of state Shavkat Mirziyoyev as a presidential candidate for early elections on July 9.

    Recall that the party nominated Shavkat Mirziyoyev as a presidential candidate on May 12. After that, she submitted documents to the Central Election Commission to participate in the elections and received permission, the news agency "Dunyo" reports.

    During the congress, the party also approved the candidate's program.

    The program consists of five goals, the first is "Creating the most suitable conditions for each person to realize his potential."

    The second goal of the program is "Ensuring sustainable economic growth so that people are satisfied with life."

    The third goal of the program is aimed at "Saving water resources and protecting the environment."

    The fourth goal is "Ensuring the rule of law, the organization of public administration in the service of the people."

    The fifth goal is "A new Uzbekistan, a safe and peaceful state."

    The leader of the Milliy Tiklanish Democratic Party, Alisher Kodirov, also spoke at the congress. On behalf of his party, he expressed support for the candidate for the post of President of Uzbekistan from UzLiDeP.

    According to the decision of the congress, UzLiDeP, in accordance with the legislation, will apply to the Central Election Commission with a request for registration of the candidate nominated by the party for President of Uzbekistan.

    Recall that the People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan nominated its leader Ulugbek Inoyatov, the Social Democratic Party "Adolat" - Robakhon Makhmudova, and the Environmental Party - Abdushukur Khamzayev as a candidate for President of Uzbekistan.
