The mission representatives noted that the voting took place in accordance with all OSCE requirements - transparent and open, fully complying with the national electoral legislation of Uzbekistan.
OSCE Special Coordinator Azai Guliyev said the Uzbek government is ready to cooperate closely with the mission, take decisive measures and together promote interests aimed at strengthening democracy.

A press conference on the results of the the elections of deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and local Councils (Kengashes) was held, at which representatives of the mission of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe expressed their opinion on the electoral process.
