In recent years, the Dialogue has become a popular platform for discussing issues of peace, security and gender equality in the region.
Special emphasis is placed on the achievements within the framework of the chairmanship of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan in the Women's Dialogue in 2021-2023.
During this period, important decisions were taken aimed at strengthening regional cooperation in the field of gender equality and support for women. Significant progress has been made in integrating gender perspectives into national policies, expanding digital reach, supporting women entrepreneurs and strengthening women's leadership in environmental sustainability and the universe.
In 2024, during the presidency of Kyrgyzstan, work on the implementation of these initiatives continued.
The senator spoke in detail about the measures taken under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan Sh. Mirziyoyev to develop regional cooperation in support of women. In particular, G. Marufova noted that 2025 marks the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Beijing Platform for Action, a key document that became the basis for the global movement to protect women's rights and promote gender equality.
