Partnership between border and migration services of Uzbekistan and Poland is deepening

    The Embassy of our country in Warsaw, together with the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (FRONTEX) and the Main Commandant's Office of the Polish Border Guard Service, organized a visit of a delegation consisting of specialists from Uzbekistan to participate in short training courses.

    The main purpose of the visit was the exchange of experience between the involved services of the two countries in the application of information systems for the systematization of border control and migration processes, determining the prospects for further cooperation.

    During the workshop, the participants got acquainted with the activities of the Border Service, the Agency for Foreigners of Poland. In addition, specialists from Uzbekistan studied the process of applying new technologies used in the activities of border and migration services to identify forged documents, control the legality of stay and employment of foreign citizens.

    Representatives of Poland and Uzbekistan have also worked out mechanisms of interaction on migration issues, the Dunyo news agency reports.

    As a result of the event, an agreement was reached on deepening mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of combating illegal migration, continuing regular meetings of representatives of the competent authorities of the two countries at various levels.
