The members of the delegation were provided with detailed information on the large-scale reforms carried out in all spheres of life based on the new version of the Constitution and the Strategy "Uzbekistan-2030", as well as on the structure of the Legislative Chamber, legislative activities, the work of committees and commissions.

In turn, Vladimir Volodin, expressing gratitude for the sincere welcome, noted the steady positive trend observed in recent years in expanding and strengthening relations between the two countries, as well as fruitful cooperation in various fields.

It was emphasized about the rapid development of cooperation, as well as the fact that relations between Uzbekistan and Russia are acquiring a new format, interaction in all areas of cooperation is intensifying and the multilateral dialogue is strengthening.

The guest, highly appreciating the large-scale reforms carried out in Uzbekistan in all spheres, noted the constructive and open foreign policy pursued by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev aimed at strengthening regional ties.

It was noted that further expansion of interparliamentary cooperation and reaching a qualitatively new level, which is an important factor in the development of bilateral relations, is mutually beneficial in all respects, and there is also a need to improve the activities of the Interparliamentary Cooperation Commission of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

During the dialogue, an exchange of views took place on the holding of inter-parliamentary forums, inter-party and inter-factional dialogue, and promising areas for the development of cooperation were identified.
