Brussels recognizes the Strategy for the Development of New Uzbekistan in 2022-2026

    The delegation of our country, led by the First Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the “Oliy Majlis” of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Director of the National Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights Akmal Saidov, is taking part in the 15th meeting of the Parliamentary Cooperation Committee "Uzbekistan - European Union" in Brussels.

    According to the press service of the National Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights, A. Saidov held a number of meetings within the framework of information events with the participation of representatives of the European media and the cultural and humanitarian sphere. In particular, a meeting was held with the editor-in-chief of the journal "Diplomatic World" Barbara Dietrich.

    A. Saidov spoke about the essence and significance of the "Strategy for the Development of New Uzbekistan in 2022-2026" approved by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. B. Dietrich noted the importance of realizing human rights, especially women's rights. An agreement was reached to publish an article on the Development Strategy of the new Uzbekistan in the next issue of the journal "Diplomatic World", UZA reports.

    Project Manager of the analytical center "Diplomatic World Institute" Alberto Turkstra at a meeting with Akmal Saidov drew attention to the importance of the tasks outlined in the Development Strategy to improve public authorities. In his opinion, the achievement of reasonable goals will certainly lead to an increase in the welfare of the population.
