As part of the Cultural Heritage Week in Tashkent, the exhibition "Masterpieces of the Temurid era" was opened

    The opening of the exhibition "Masterpieces of the Temurid Era" was solemnly held at the State Museum of the History of the Temurids. The exhibition opened as part of the Cultural Heritage Week "Cultural heritage of Uzbekistan - the basis of a new Renaissance".

    Within the framework of the scientific "round table" preceding the exhibition, speakers - orientalists, museum staff discussed the role and legacy of Amir Temur and his descendants in world history, the contribution of scientists of Uzbekistan and prominent figures of the Turkic world to the development of world civilization, science and culture.

    The participants noted the importance and timeliness of the week "Cultural heritage of Uzbekistan - the basis of a new Renaissance" and the International Week of Partnership Initiatives "New Uzbekistan: development, innovation and Education". It was emphasized that special attention is paid to cultural heritage issues in the New Uzbekistan. In particular, they create conditions for the development of this project.

    At the end of the event, the State Museum of the History of the Temurids, on behalf of the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan, was awarded a certificate for 50 volumes of books-albums of the series "Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan in the collections of the World".

    The participants of the exhibition and the round table, well-known orientalists shared their opinions about the event and its significance for world science.

    "I am very glad that the culture of Uzbekistan is developing by leaps and bounds. I believe that this is the peculiarity of the New Uzbekistan. The cultural heritage of this land is of great importance not only for the people of this country, but also for the peoples of the whole world, since Uzbekistan is located in the very center of Asia, in the very center of the Eurasian continent. The treasures that have been preserved in the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan are treasures belonging to the whole world," said Sergey Laptev, a member of the Board of the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan, a special researcher at the MIHO Museum (Japan).

    Speaking about the scientists of Uzbekistan and their invaluable contribution to world civilization, Managing Director of the Al-Furkan Islamic Heritage Foundation (Great Britain) Sali Shahsivari noted that Uzbekistan has become the land where many scientists lived and worked, who made an invaluable contribution to the development of world civilization.
