This year, the CAITME exhibition celebrates its fifteenth anniversary and is rightfully considered the center of textile innovations in Central Asia, reports the news agency "Dunyo".

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of ministries and departments, ambassadors of foreign countries, professionals and industry experts from the Central Asian region, leading investors and international organizations.

It was noted at the event that this is the most reputable international exhibition in the region, the high status of which is regularly confirmed by the data of the independent audit of the UFI World Exhibition Association. It ranks first among similar events in the CIS countries and is the second largest on the Asian continent. This is a platform for reviewing and demonstrating the achievements and developments of world manufacturers in the field of textile and sewing engineering, where the necessary equipment and components are found for each enterprise.

During the entire period of the exhibition, 3,224 companies from 33 countries took part in the exhibition, and 64,129 people became visitors.

The exhibition has become a kind of bridge for many textile engineering leaders to enter the Uzbek market, who carry out their activities in the field of partnership and joint ventures, and direct investments.

This year 403 companies from 22 countries are participating: Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Greece, India, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Republic of Korea, Luxembourg, Netherlands, UAE, Russia, USA, Turkey, Uzbekistan, France, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Japan.

China, Turkey, Italy, Germany and India became the top 5 in terms of the number of participants among foreign countries.

The exposition is deployed in all pavilions of the Uzexpocenter Exhibition Complex and is divided into sections for the convenience of visitors.

The share of foreign participants at the exhibition was 87%.

The exhibition will run until September 14th.
