The event was attended by representatives of the competent authorities of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, the Council of Heads of Financial Intelligence Units of the CIS member States, the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the CIS ATC.
The participants were informed about the procedure and content of the main stages of the exercise, the procedure for using collective information systems available in the arsenal of security agencies, special services and law enforcement agencies of the Commonwealth countries, as well as typical situational tasks of the exercise.
During the lesson, practical experience was exchanged in ensuring the safety of critical infrastructure facilities and mass stay of people in the CIS member states. The features of carrying out measures to increase their anti-terrorist protection are considered.
The joint anti-terrorist exercise Vostok-Antiterrorism - 2024 will be held in September this year on the territories of seven Commonwealth states.
During the exercise, training tasks will be worked out to identify and prevent terrorist acts, neutralize terrorist threats to border security, and ensure counteraction to cyberterrorism and the financing of terrorist activities.
