On February 10, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev chaired a videoconference on effective organization of the implementation of the State Program “Year of Supporting Youth and Improving Population Health”.
The State committee for tourism development held a meeting dedicated to supporting extreme and other popular types of tourism in Uzbekistan and their further development. It was attended by representatives of the Federation of extreme tourism, the Federation of aeronautics and the Federation of paragliding of Uzbekistan.
Henceforth, citizens of Uzbekistan, foreign citizens and stateless persons are registered into the automated information system "E-Mehmon" while using the services of accommodation facilities.
For the further development of the tourism industry of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, as well as the development of domestic tourism, guesthouses were opened.
The first symbolic brick was laid for the building in the Jeyran nursery located in the south-west of the Kyzylkum desert, 42 km from Bukhara. The development of an eco-tourism facility is aimed at increasing the possibilities of the nursery and creating favorable conditions for visiting tourists and local guests.
