Cargo turnover of Uzbekistan and Russia increased by 38%

    The cargo turnover of Uzbekistan and Russia in the first nine months of 2023 increased by 38% compared to 2022. This was announced by the head of the Federal Customs Service Ruslan Davydov during negotiations with the head of the Customs Service of Uzbekistan Akmalkhuja Mavlonov.

    During the negotiations, the parties discussed the development of mutual trade within the framework of the Simplified Customs Corridor project, as well as mutual recognition of the Institute of Authorized Economic Operators (AEO).

    In the development of the AEO Agreement, the parties signed an information exchange procedure. This will allow timely exchange of information about changes in the national AEO registers.
