In order to effectively use the State Budget funds allocated for financial support of students and students studying in higher and professional educational organizations on a fee-and-contract basis, an educational loan will be issued.

Starting from the 2024/2025 academic year, a new procedure for allocating educational loans at the expense of the Fund for Financing Educational Loans under the Ministry of Economy and Finance is being introduced, which provides for:

· allocation of an educational loan for studying in higher and professional educational organizations only to students and full-time students;

· allocation of an educational loan:

- first-year students of higher educational institutions and students of professional educational organizations - in the amount of the amount of the paid contract;

- to students of the second and senior courses of universities - in the amount of no more than 80% of the amount of the paid contract if the average academic performance in the disciplines is below "3" (with the exception of children from families included in the "Unified Register of Social Protection").

The document also establishes that an educational loan is allocated:

· for university students - if there is information about students in the information system "Accounting for services provided to students on a contractual basis" (kontrakt.edu.uz) and the information system "Management of Higher Education processes" (NEMIS) Ministries of Higher Education, Science and Innovation;

· for students of professional educational organizations – if there is information about students in the information system "Management of professional education processes" (prof.edu.uz) The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.

By July 1, 2024, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation has been instructed to form a paid contract for all higher and professional educational organizations, regardless of their organizational and legal form and departmental subordination through information systems "kontrakt.edu.uz " and "prof.edu.uz ".

By the beginning of the 2024/2025 academic year, it is planned to provide an opportunity to apply for an educational loan through the Educational Loan information system of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (ta¢lim-krediti.mf.uz) and the EPIG.
