The Ministry's specialists met with the leadership of the National Tourism Administration of Georgia and provided the foreign official with detailed information about the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, the conditions created for tourists, the existing transport and logistics opportunities.

In September 2023, the parties agreed to organize an infotour and B2B meetings on tourist attractions of Uzbekistan with the participation of Georgian tour operators, media representatives and bloggers.

At the same time, it was decided to exchange experience on the organization of domestic tourism in Uzbekistan and accurate statistics in this regard.

The National Tourism Administration announced that they will provide practical assistance in organizing road shows in Georgian cities in order to popularize the tourism potential of Uzbekistan.

For information: in 6 months of this year, the number of tourists from Georgia doubled compared to the same period last year.
