The Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and other officials met the Leader of Russia at Samarkand International Airport.

The agenda of the talks between the leaders of Uzbekistan and Russia includes issues of further strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance, enhancing trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation. The heads of state will exchange views on the current issues of international and regional importance.

President Vladimir Putin will take part in a regular meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the SCO.
