Tashkent hosts a scientific symposium dedicated to the work and legacy of Makhtumkuli Fraga

    Today, on October 15, the International Institute of Central Asia (MICA) in Tashkent will host a scientific symposium "The literary and political-philosophical heritage of Makhtumkuli Fraga". The event is dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen poet and thinker.

    The symposium will discuss the results of the international forum "The interconnection of times and civilizations - the foundation of peace and development", which was held on October 11 in Ashgabat as part of the celebration of the anniversary of Makhtumkuli, which was attended by President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and leaders of other Central Asian states, as well as a number of neighboring countries, reports news agency "Dunyo".

    The forum participants will consider the poet's literary heritage, as well as Makhtumkuli's philosophical and political views, their impact on social processes, public administration and strengthening the independence of states.

    The event, organized by the IAC together with the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Uzbekistan, will be attended by ambassadors of a number of countries accredited in Tashkent, officials, representatives of expert analytical and research institutions.
