According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Cairo, the drugs were sent to the Virology Research Institute of the Ministry of Health of our country. They will be used free of charge by patients who are being treated in this medical institution, the news agency "Dunyo" reports.

800 thousand units of this medicine provided to Uzbekistan by the Egyptian government so far will satisfy the need for the treatment of 133 thousand patients.

Recall that this humanitarian action is carried out in accordance with the agreements reached during the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Egypt on February 20-21, 2023, and negotiations with the Ministry of Health of Egypt. Humanitarian aid contributes to the provision of support to hepatitis patients and their treatment at the expense of the state.
