Japan earthquake death toll rises to 213

    The number of victims of the earthquake in Japan has reached 215 people, the Kyodo agency reports.

    A day ago, the mass media reported the death of 213 people. It was reported that 567 people were injured as a result of the earthquake, and it was not possible to contact 37 people and confirm that they are safe.

    Earlier on the first day of 2024, a series of large earthquakes occurred in the Noto Peninsula of Ishikawa Prefecture on the west coast of Japan, the strongest of which was 7.6 magnitude.
