A regular meeting of the Kengash of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held. The members of the Kengash discussed the implementation of the Program of Comprehensive Measures for the implementation in 2023 of the Strategy for Achieving Gender Equality in the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030.

On December 14, a meeting of the Council of the joint project "Achieving equality by supporting the implementation of the strategy for achieving gender equality in the Republic of Uzbekistan" was held in the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
On December 6, the Public Foundation for the Support and Development of National Mass Media, with the support of the Representative Office of the United Nations Population Fund in Uzbekistan (UNFPA), held an international conference dedicated to the exchange of experience and knowledge on the topic "Institutionalization of the fight against violence. Creating gender-sensitive images in the media".
A few days ago, a "round table" was held at the Ministry of Innovative Development. It was attended by members of the Senate Committee on Women and Gender Equality, senior officials of relevant ministries and departments, representatives of political parties dealing with women's issues, women deputies of local councils and representatives of the media.
On June 21 of this year, the Committee of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis on Women and Gender Equality, together with the Commission on Enhancing the Role of Women in Society, Gender Equality and the Family, the UN Development Program office in Uzbekistan and interested ministries and departments held the opening ceremony of the Dialogue Platform of Leading Women of Uzbekistan.
