The event will be attended by international book publishing and bookselling companies and organizations, foreign associations of publishers and book distributors, organizations dealing with the popularization and promotion of reading, information and library institutions.

The purpose of this event is to promote reading, support and develop the literary heritage of the participating countries, form a reading culture, study the experience of the world printing industry and establish international relations between book publishers and book distributors, information and library institutions and organizations dealing with books and reading.

Also, within the framework of the fair, presentations of new books and meetings with authors, creative meetings with cultural figures, seminars and master classes, book competitions, promotions and trainings, as well as various cultural programs will be held.

Recall that the 1st Tashkent International Book Fair was held on October 2-4, 2019, the 2nd was held on December 16-18, 2020. The event was attended by representatives of publishers and bookselling organizations from Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Kazakhstan, Israel, India, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Turkey, France, as well as more than 30 public and private publishers and bookselling organizations of Uzbekistan.
