The UNESCO World Conference on Early Childhood Education and Upbringing has started its work in Tashkent

    Today, on November 14, the II UNESCO World Conference on Early Childhood Education and Upbringing (Global Forum) began its work in the capital of Uzbekistan.

    The event is organized by the Government of Uzbekistan, UNESCO, as well as other international organizations.

    The conference is attended by heads of international organizations and financial institutions, ministers in the field of education of UNESCO member countries, as well as leading international figures in the field of science and education.

    The Minister of Preschool Education of Uzbekistan Agrippina Shin addressed the participants of the forum with a welcoming speech.

    As a result of the event, it is expected that a final document will be adopted - the Tashkent Declaration, which will define the international agenda in the field of preschool education until 2030. The final document will be prepared during the consultative process on the sidelines of the conference, translated into the six official languages of the United Nations and handed over to all UNESCO member states, the Dunyo news Agency reports.

    Recall that the first UNESCO World Conference on the Upbringing and Education of Young Children was held in Moscow on September 27-29, 2010.
