In Uzbekistan, the introduction of "Environmental stickers" has been postponed until 2025

    Resolution No. 381 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 07/03/2024 amended and supplemented some Government decisions aimed at improving the environmental situation in industries.

    In particular, to ensure the efficient use of renewable energy sources and the development of the "Ecological Transport" system, it is envisaged:

    · cancellation of the requirement to submit design documentation for the state environmental assessment for the installation of solar photovoltaic plants on roofs and facades of buildings;

    · carrying out activities for the creation and cultivation of "green belts" at industrial enterprises that have an impact on the environment and adjacent territories;

    · changing the timing of the phased implementation of the "Ecological Transport" system. It will start on March 1, 2025 (it was on June 1, 2024). From the same date, they will begin to determine the level of compliance of vehicles with regulations and issue environmental stickers.

    Changes and additions have been made to:

    · PCM dated 07.09.2020 No. 541 "On further improvement of the environmental Impact assessment mechanism";

    · PCM dated 03/29/2024 No. 166 "On measures to reduce the negative impact of vehicles on atmospheric air".
